After supporting the Libertarian party for years, (I was actually the GT County chair several years ago) and being frustrated by lack of ability to get anything done, I decided the best way was to become active in the Republican party. (think Ron Paul) I actually find a little more similarity with Republican Ideals but with a stronger Libertarian influence. The diff is that I will stand my ground rather than cave. So would Hoogendyk.

How do I reconcile it all? I donate more to the Libertarians than the Republicans in general so the message is made, (remember Ron Paul 6Mill? all me baby.. lol) and then use the message to talk to the Repubs I support.

Don't get frustrated. Walberg did good, and that's a good start.

Feel free to email and network with me. If you are interested in what is right for our state and nation, it never hurts to have more friends.
